Louise was engaged to develop and implement a commercial strategy to grow the sales of a start-up, free-from business. Working remotely on a part-time basis over a period of 18 months the existing range turnover increased by 80% through new listings and the introduction of new variants into existing accounts. The brand was also introduced into a new category with the launch into a number of major retailers. The focus was placed on developing customer relationships and ensuring effective and profitable promotional activity to drive the performance of the brand.

Louise was recruited to manage the Marks & Spencer account for this premium biscuit business for an initial 4-month period and returned for a second period which lasted for 10 months – liaising with buyers, new product development teams, technical and supply chain. The role project managed new product launches for both all-year-round and seasonal ranges across sweet and savoury biscuit categories. During the time in the business Louise secured new all-year-round business worth £1m annually and also developed new Christmas 2017 business worth £0.5m.
